Membership is open to all the Indian Residents. Individuals who are interested in the Science of Biological Control, Scientists, Researchers, Teachers, Research fellows, enterpreneurs engaged in the development of biocontrol products,their formulations, farmers and development officials interested in the biological control of pests, diseases and weed using insects, microbials and non insect pests can become members of the Society by submitting an application form and paying a nominal membership fee as indicated.

Life membership

Life membership is available to the residents of India who are engaged or interested in the biological control of pests and weeds utilising parasitoids, predators, microbials, and other living organisms. The life member will have the previlege of receiving the Journal of Biological control free of cost ,  concessional rates of registration charges for seminars/ symposia  organised by the society and the publications brought out by the society.  The members are eligible to contest the elections and franchise.

The life membership fee is Rs 1000 + Rs 25 (admission fee )

2.  Annual members

The annual membership will be for a year. The annual member will have all the previleges mentioned above except  they are not eligible to contest the elections.

The annual membership fee is Rs. 150 + Rs 25 (admission fee)

 

 

Member Information
 
Any individual engaged in the science of biological control using parasitoids / predators , pathogens and weed insects can become members.
 The membership fee
Life member: Rs 1000., Annual member :  Rs 150 ., Bonafide students: Rs 75 
In addition Rs 25/- would be charged  towards admission fee for all the members.
For Institutions :   Rs 500 per annum. ,
For Patrons : Rs 5000   (all the back volumes of Journal of Biological Control will be supplied free of cost).
 
The fee payable must be sent  through a demand draft favoring The Secretary, Society for Biocontrol Advancement, payable at Bangalore along with application form.
