The SBA has been creating a forum for the exchange of views between and among the Biocontrol researchers.
It has conducted three symposia during the last years.
Besides, SBA had also been publishing the much acclaimed journal, Journal of Biological
control for the past 20 years without any interruption. Incidentally, this journal has been rated as one of the
best journals with accredition of 2.0 (out of 4.00) by National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi, India.
JOURNAL OF BIOLOGICAL CONTROL VOLUME 21 part 1 2007-JUNE HAS ALREADY BEEN PUBLISHED
National Symposium on Biological control of Lepidopteran pests held on 17-18th July 2002 at Bangalore
This symposium was conducted at Bangalore . Around 80 researchers participated in the symposium. The symposium has around
60 articles including 5 review articles on specific topics. After elaborate deliberations the SBA has brought out important
recommendations.
